Job Summary:
The Logistics and Operations Executive for Finished Goods is responsible for overseeing the storage, handling, transportation, and distribution of pharmaceutical products (finished goods) from the warehouse to customers or distributors. This role ensures the timely and compliant movement of products, maintaining stock levels, and optimizing logistics processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The position requires a thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical industry's regulatory standards for finished goods and an ability to coordinate with various teams to meet business and customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Finished Goods Inventory Management:
• Oversee the storage, tracking, and distribution of finished pharmaceutical products, ensuring all goods are correctly labeled and stored under the required conditions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of finished goods in the warehouse management system, ensuring stock levels are monitored and aligned with demand.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth and timely transition of finished goods from manufacturing to warehousing and distribution.
• Perform regular cycle counts and stock audits to ensure the accuracy of inventory data and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Distribution and Delivery:
• Manage the distribution of finished goods to customers, wholesalers, and distributors, ensuring timely delivery according to contractual agreements.
• Work closely with third-party logistics providers to coordinate shipments, ensuring all shipments comply with pharmaceutical regulations.
• Ensure that all finished goods orders are processed efficiently, from order receipt to delivery, including coordinating transportation, packaging, and labeling as required.
• Manage logistics documentation, including shipping invoices, packing lists, and delivery confirmations.
• Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
• Ensure that all logistics operations related to finished goods are compliant with relevant pharmaceutical regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDP, GxP, ISO).
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and transport of temperature-sensitive products (e.g., refrigerated or frozen items) to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with audits and inspections to ensure logistics processes are in line with regulatory and company standards, including maintaining necessary documentation for compliance.
• Coordination with Internal Teams:
• Collaborate with the sales, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure that finished goods meet customer requirements and delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure availability of packaging materials and other items necessary for the safe transport and handling of finished goods.
• Address customer inquiries regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any potential delays, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Logistics Process Optimization:
• Analyze logistics data (e.g., lead times, shipping costs, delivery performance) to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize efficiency.
• Develop strategies to reduce transportation and warehousing costs while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of finished goods.
• Continuously review and improve operational processes to ensure cost-effective and efficient handling and distribution of finished goods.
• Reporting & Data Management:
• Prepare regular reports on finished goods inventory levels, order processing status, delivery timelines, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Monitor logistics performance, providing updates to senior management and identifying areas for process improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipping documents, inventory reports, and compliance documentation.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in logistics, inventory management, or operations management (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) are a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, focusing on finished goods.
• Experience with pharmaceutical regulations, including Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in managing the distribution and transportation of finished goods.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external logistics partners.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• Other Requirements:
• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventories and logistics documentation.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Knowledge of international shipping, customs, and documentation processes for pharmaceutical finished goods is advantageous.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
