As a Logistics Manager , You will be responsible for overseeing the transportation, distribution, and storage of our diagnostic products. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain while optimizing efficiency and reducing costs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, with a strong understanding of perishable items. Key Responsibilities:
As a Logistics Manager , You will be responsible for overseeing the transportation, distribution, and storage of our diagnostic products. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain while optimizing efficiency and reducing costs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, with a strong understanding of perishable items. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure the timely delivery of diagnostic products to customers.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and distributors to optimize transportation routes and reduce transit times.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory management best practices to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for the transportation and storage of perishable items, including temperature control and documentation.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, manufacturing, and sales, to align logistics activities with business objectives.
- Lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Bachelor\'s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the healthcare or diagnostics industry.
- Strong understanding of perishable items and experience managing temperature-sensitive products.
- Proven track record of implementing logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as ERP and WMS platforms.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
