This position reports to Group Manager - Warehousing and Distribution and is based at Bangalore [flexible for Hyderabad or Chennai as well].

What You Will Do


The Regional Logistics Lead is responsible for overseeing warehouse & secondary transportation operation for south region. Primary responsibilities include ensuring that 3PL teams effectively perform core processes of receiving, storage of incoming material, picking, packing, invoicing, distribution of material as per the customer orders received, evaluating 3PL performance, ensuring compliance with regulations, ensure high standards of safety across warehouses, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring region's budget and adherence to cost controls. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, along with proficiency in logistics processes & software. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.



Key Responsibilities• Spearhead the Operations Management of all the Distribution Centres (DCs) under the Kenvue Distribution Network for South region.


• Supervises day-to-day warehouse workflow and leads secondary transportation across the Southern region.
• The role is accountable for DC operating costs, deployment of applicable Quality Standards, Site Compliance and driving key projects in this area and supervising secondary transportation.


• The role will require collaboration with other members of the supply chain, Deliver Quality, and customer support teams to achieve the Sale and Customer Service goals of Deliver India
• Provides input to and approves procedures for the safe storage and movement of material in and out of the warehouses.


• Review the secondary transport performance and take budgetary decisions on transportation and allied cost.


• Monitor and communicate key warehouse Parameters to management (OTIFD, OTD, Space Utilization, Efficiency, Throughput). Ensuring adherence for monthly SOX reports.


• Work very closely with country SC / QA / RA & Legal, to ensure service level, quality and compliance.


• Reviews and approves invoices for service on company equipment and general warehouse and other needed maintenance.


• Ensures discrepancies are addressed and resolved.


• Collaborates with other relevant departments to establish projected workload and timelines for planning purposes.


• Uses productivity data to assess progress and prepares status reports for management.


• Establishes and monitors department budget and adherence to cost controls.


• Manages nonstock procurement Cost Agreements with Vendors.


• Attending various audits and its requirement towards closure.


• Lead key projects i.e. consolidate warehouse under global key project.


• Review backup plans and ensure business continuity.


• Governance through Key Performance Indicators


• Support network projects like Warehouse transitions, vendor transitions etc. for the South region.

Qualifications What We Are Looking For


Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in logistics (Warehousing & transportation). Prefer experience in Healthcare/FMCG industry.


• University/bachelor's degree or equivalent. MBA from top tier school preferred.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to lead and motivate 3PL team.


• EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL INTERACTIONS: External interactions may include customers, industry partners, third-party distribution centers and suppliers, transportation providers.
