We are currently looking to expand our logistics team and are seeking a skilled Logistics Executive to manage key logistics operations, ensuring smooth flow across various stages of the supply chain.
Job Overview: The Logistics Executive will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end logistics process at Pushpak Products India Pvt Ltd. This includes coordinating with transporters, liaising with the factory and customers, ensuring efficient loading and unloading of materials, managing inventory and stores, and handling key documentation processes such as GST, ERP systems, e-way bills, and delivery challans. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and have a keen understanding of logistics operations and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Transporter Coordination: Establish and maintain relationships with transporters to ensure the timely movement of goods. Manage the scheduling and routing of shipments to meet delivery deadlines and reduce transportation costs.
Factory Coordination: Collaborate with the production team to ensure that goods are ready for dispatch on time. Supervise loading activities and ensure materials are loaded correctly, following safety standards and company procedures.
Customer Coordination: Communicate with customers to confirm delivery schedules, provide updates on shipment status, and resolve any issues related to deliveries or delays. Proactively address customer concerns and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
Material Handling (Loading/Unloading): Take responsibility for the safe loading and unloading of materials. Supervise on-site operations to ensure that goods are handled properly and that safety protocols are followed during the loading/unloading process.
Documentation Management: Ensure proper documentation for all shipments, including:
GST Compliance: Ensure that GST-related documentation is in order for every shipment.
ERP Entry: Manage inventory records and logistics details in the ERP system to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
E-way Bills: Ensure that all shipments are accompanied by valid e-way bills, and that they comply with relevant regulations.
Delivery Challans: Generate and verify delivery challans for all shipments, ensuring they are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Coordination with Internal Departments:
Purchase Team: Ensure raw materials or products are available in the required quantities by coordinating with the purchase team for timely procurement.
Production Team: Work closely with the production department to ensure that inventory levels match production schedules and ensure timely dispatch of finished goods.
Stores Team: Coordinate with the stores team to ensure smooth operations in receiving and dispatching materials, and maintaining inventory.
Compliance and Reporting: Maintain compliance with logistics regulations, including tax laws related to GST. Prepare regular reports for senior management on logistics performance, inventory levels, transportation costs, and delivery status.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to logistics, such as delays in transportation, inventory discrepancies, or customer complaints, by providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
l Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
l Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.
l Strong knowledge of GST, ERP systems, e-way bills, and Delivery Challans.
l Prior experience in handling material loading/unloading, inventory control, and stores management.
l Familiarity with inventory management systems and best practices.
l Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with transporters, customers, and internal teams.
l Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in documentation.
l Problem-solving ability and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
