Job Overview

We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to join our team at WTT INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, India. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials in and out of our company. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of freight and transportation management.
• Experience in contract negotiation.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi languages.
• Prior experience in an engineering-related industry is a plus.

• Coordinate and manage the transportation and delivery of goods and materials.
• Plan and schedule shipments to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international shipping and customs regulations.
• Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to track shipments and resolve any issues or delays.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and transportation costs.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Manage contracts and negotiate rates with transportation providers.
• Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Handle the dispatching of goods to different locations efficiently.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries regarding logistics matters.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in logistics and transportation.
