Bear2boom is a leading company dedicated to Logistics . We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team and oversee our supply chain operations with efficiency and precision.
Position Summary:
The Experienced Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing and optimizing the logistics processes to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics operations, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
• Logistics Management:
• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers and partners.
• Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Vendor and Carrier Relations:
• Develop and maintain relationships with freight carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers and vendors to secure the best possible terms.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouses to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Prepare and manage shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and other regulatory documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including DOT, OSHA, and customs requirements.
• Problem-Solving and Coordination:
• Resolve issues related to shipping delays, damaged goods, or other logistical challenges.
• Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., sales, customer service) to address and resolve customer concerns.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Track and analyze logistics metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance, including delivery times, costs, and efficiency.
