Roles & Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Generating leads and attracting new prospects, and developing a sales pipeline. \xc2\xb7 Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services. \xc2\xb7 Providing customers with shipping quotes. \xc2\xb7 Booking orders with carriers. \xc2\xb7 Assisting to prepare carriers for loads. \xc2\xb7 Tracking status of loads. \xc2\xb7 Collaborating with shippers, carriers and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop-offs. \xc2\xb7 Keeping accurate records of relevant activities. \xc2\xb7 Updating customers on status of shipments, and assisting with other inquiries. \xc2\xb7 Maintaining current knowledge of market trends in transportation marketplace.
