Position Summary :
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating vehicle fleet operations on-site, ensuring efficient vehicle allocation, shift management for drivers, and reporting site-related issues. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to optimize the logistics operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Management & Scheduling :
• Identify the optimal times for vehicle usage on-site to ensure smooth operations.
• Allocate vehicle shifts to ensure maximum utilization of the fleet while minimizing downtime.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules, ensuring that vehicles are available when needed and well-maintained.
• Driver Shift Allocation :
• Assign shifts to drivers, ensuring appropriate coverage and that all drivers are working within safety and legal limits.
• Monitor driver attendance, shift patterns, and performance to ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations.
• Issue Reporting & Communication :
• Report and communicate any site issues, delays, or incidents promptly to the Logistics Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
• Proactively address potential disruptions to operations by coordinating with site teams and management.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with site teams, drivers, and managers to resolve issues swiftly and efficiently.
• Logistical Coordination :
• Monitor vehicle and driver performance, ensuring adherence to schedules and operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in relation to vehicle use and driver conduct.
• Assist in the coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery and pick-up.
• Documentation & Reporting :
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, shift schedules, and driver activities.
• Provide regular reports to management regarding fleet operations, site issues, and performance metrics.
• Continuous Improvement :
• Work closely with management to identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing service delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience : 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet management.
• Skills :
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• Rotational shift

Work Location: In person
