VES is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Faridabad, India location. This person will be responsible for all aspects of domestic and international shipments, including completion of customs formalities (imports and exports). This position requires a team player with strong communication skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and logistics working experience in oil and gas industry in India. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Freight coordination of domestic shipments from our suppliers to our location, from our location to our customers and between Global VES locations. Lead negotiation with carriers to move the cargo efficiently and effectively. Work with carriers on monthly shipments reports and apply logistics programs to reduce freight costs. Issue BOLs, track and trace shipments and file freight claim as needed. Maintains of freight accounts with carriers and provide assistance to operation as needed. Maintain the shipments tracker. Invoice outbound shipments as soon as they leave the factory. Coordinates the end-to-end export process, including cost effective selection of mode of transport to meet customer requirements, carrier selection, rates negotiations, preparation of export documents, request of green light to ship to the receiving locations, issue SLI, preparing of export clearance documentation, record keeping, track and trace, filing of freight claims, invoicing, and auditing freight invoices among others. Maintain the shipments tracker. Ensuring all imports are in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, review shipping documents and provide green light to ship, make freight arrangements, track, and trace shipments, send letter of instructions to the customs broker, coordinate last mile delivery, audit customs entries, and maintain records of all imports. Support other functions and operations as needed, including resolution of overages, shortages, and damaged OS&D s . Performs other duties and participates in projects as assigned. Education and/or Experience: Graduate / Diploma in in related field (Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, etc.) preferred 5+ years of a combination of domestic and international logistics experience, oil & gas industry preferred. Excellent knowledge of DGFT, Customs Rules in India and freight carriers network Experience with ERP systems - (SAP preferred) and logistics-related applications (e.g., TMS systems, carrier s software, etc.) Should have on hand working experience in SAP, able to perform all transactions for P2P and O2C cycle, such as PO, SO, DN, MR, MIGO etc
