We are looking for an individual to efficiently manage and oversee all aspects of shipping, from small packages to crates and containers, ensuring smooth logistics operations and compliance with shipping regulations. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, with a minimum expectation of 45 hours per week. Late evening hours are required on days of container stuffing. Location : Chakan, Pune. Key Accountabilities PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Preparation for Shipping \xc3\x98 Prepare a packing list and identification of parts to be shipped \xc3\x98 Take charge of parts from the production department once they are checked and approved by the QC team. \xc3\x98 Ensure proper wrapping as per design norms to avoid damage during transit. \xc3\x98 Ensure the manufacture of packing boxes as per design requirements. \xc3\x98 Stuff wrapped parts in packing boxes \xc3\x98 Label goods and packing boxes \xc3\x98 Cross-check the packing list Container Booking \xc3\x98 Coordinate with the factory project manager, the production manager, and the Mumbai project manager to schedule containers as per the project schedule. \xc3\x98 Coordinate with the shipping or logistics company and other relevant parties for container booking. Container Stuffing \xc3\x98 Understand the container stuffing plan received from the design team. \xc3\x98 Stuff containers as per plan with labelled packing boxes, ensuring proper security. \xc3\x98 Manage and lead assigned workers for container stuffing. \xc3\x98 Coordinate with the factory project manager and production manager to arrange loading and lifting equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, etc.). \xc3\x98 Adhere to the safety procedures while using cranes, lifts, and tackles, ensuring NIL safety incidents \xc3\x98 Ensure the packing list aligns with the container stuffing plan and BOL to ensure no missed parts or excess parts. \xc3\x98 Coordinate with the factory project manager, production manager, and Mumbai project manager in case of any mismatches or problems in achieving the container stuffing plan. \xc3\x98 Oversee final inspection of completed container stuffing. Shipping Coordination \xc3\x98 Coordinate with the transporter to meet the container loading schedule. \xc3\x98 Ensure container dispatch as per schedule. \xc3\x98 Track container up to CFS or port Documentation \xc3\x98 Prepare detailed Bills of Lading (BOL) and Packing Lists for each shipment \xc3\x98 Make sure all the parts mentioned in the packing list are loaded into the container. \xc3\x98 Ensure accurate and complete paperwork for customs clearance and compliance Logistic Reports \xc3\x98 Prepare and maintain logistics reports for internal reference \xc3\x98 Share the reports with the concerned stakeholders for review SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES Process Improvement \xc3\x98 Identify areas for process enhancement within shipping operations \xc3\x98 Implement streamlined procedures and best practices to improve efficiency Education Qualification \xc3\x98 BE , supply chain management or operations \xc3\x98 Knowledge of supply chain / shipping regulations and export documentation \xc3\x98 Safety training / certifications Relevant Work Experience \xc3\x98 Proven experience as logistics coordinator \xc3\x98 Experience in customer service will be appreciated \xc3\x98 Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements \xc3\x98 Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes \xc3\x98 Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP) \xc3\x98 Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities \xc3\x98 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills \xc3\x98 Problem-solving abilities Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Salary: Rs. 4 lakhs to 5 lakhs per annum (negotiable based on experience) Additional Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Job Type: Full-time Pay: \xe2\x82\xb930,000.00 - \xe2\x82\xb940,000.00 per month Schedule:
