We spark ideas that lead to positive impact and continued success.If you want to be part of this important mission, we want to hear from you.Perform customs clearance activities, logistics, last mile delivery, order review for customer orders, within the assigned territory, in order to ensure the product fulfilment and deliveries are made in timely manner and necessary local legal requirements are fulfilled to maximize customer satisfaction and thereby supporting Fiscal Revenue Forecast alignment with Internal Stakeholders.Position Summary:Perform customs clearance activities, logistics, last mile delivery, order review for customer orders, within the assigned territory, in order to ensure the product fulfilment and deliveries are made in timely manner and necessary local legal requirements are fulfilled to maximize customer satisfaction and thereby supporting Fiscal Revenue Forecast alignment with Internal Stakeholders.Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manages India & Territories network Operations at Country Ports / Airports/Dry ports Customs Clearance Activities with Customs Brokers, Transporters, and other Partners.
  • Track and Trace of shipment and preparing customs clearance documents in order to have smooth clearance and maximize customer satisfaction according to contractual terms.
  • Serves as liaison between logistics operations team, internal and external stakeholders, foreign order administration, freight forwarders, Customs clearing Agent, Riggers, and other functional areas to ensure smooth flow of shipments towards order fulfillment, Regulatory and Trade Compliance and Participates in developing logistics strategy, plans and procedures for APAC region.
  • Ensures and verifies shipping documents for import/export of goods within government rules and regulations. ( Pre-shipment documents validation) and maintaining all physical/soft records of Importation.
  • Cost review and issuance of PR, PO for Indirect procurement.
  • Day to Day Operation Management Includes: Coordination with internal stakeholder for assigned territories and ensuring all Indirect Procurement (Locally Procured) items are delivered as per timelines.
  • Order Review for cost provisions for indirect procured items at pre-booking stage.
  • Verification and Submission of Vendor Invoices for Approval.
  • POD/ Delivery Challan from customer for last mile delivery.
  • This position provides a wide variety of activities, learning and exposure to supply chain and logistics operations in India & Territories countries and many opportunities to engage subject matter experts and operational professionals, lead projects and present solutions and results to senior management and stakeholders across multiple business units and functions.
  • Support India head of logistics in supply chain and network operations analysis, research for innovations and logistics trends, operations review etc. Lead regional or global projects from investigation, solutioning, deployment, tracking and documentation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • Experience in logistics and supply chain operations including transport management, customs processes, regulatory requirements for medical devices 3PL operations.
  • Working experience as a customer / program manager in a 3PL MNC is an advantage.
  • Presentation skills and experience presenting to middle management on projects, KPIs, cost etc.
  • Good team player, open minded and initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Other Desired Skills and Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with Indian customs regulations, SCM fundamentals is desirable.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Hands on approach to solving problems with little guidance.
  • Fluency in English language.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in any stream preferred
  • Logistics or Supply Chain Management or Customs Clearance Diploma or Degree an advantage.
  • 3 - 5 years of related experience or bachelor\'s degree.
Experience Level with Business Tools:
  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools, Optimization tools is an advantage
