For more details visit: www.iserveu.in Job Purpose:- The Logistic Operation Executive will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the supply chain, from transportation to warehousing and inventory management. The role requires a hands-on approach to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods, while maintaining accuracy and optimizing costs. Key Responsibilities: 1. Inventory Management: • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability without overstocking. • Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts. • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile any discrepancies. 2. Warehouse Operations: • Supervise warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods. • Ensure proper storage practices to maintain product quality and safety. • Implement and monitor KPIs related to warehouse performance. 3. Order Processing: • Oversee order processing from receipt to delivery, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment. • Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse staff, and transportation teams to meet customer delivery requirements. 4. Vendor and Supplier Management: • Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods. • Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve cost savings and service improvements. • Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues related to delivery or quality. 5. Documentation and Compliance: • Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all logistics operations. • Prepare reports and analyses for management review. 6.Transportation Management: • Coordinate and oversee the transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouses and from warehouses to customers. • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies. • Optimize routes, manage driver schedules, and reduce transportation costs. • Resolve any transportation issues that may arise promptly. 7. Process Improvement: • Identify areas for process improvement within logistics operations. • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations. Requirements Qualifications:- o Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Graduate or a related field. o 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or carrier operations management. o Strong understanding of logistics processes, transportation, and inventory management. o Proficiency in logistics software and systems (e.g.MS Excel, TMS, WMS, ERP). o Excellent communication (English/Hindi/Odia). o Strong analytical skill in MS Excel and problem-solving abilities. o Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. o Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
