Key Responsibilities:

• Database Management: Maintain and optimize MS SQL databases to ensure peak performance, availability, and security.
• Backup & Recovery: Implement robust backup, recovery, and migration procedures.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor database performance, applying necessary changes and updates.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues efficiently.
• Collaboration: Partner with development teams to design and enhance database structures.
• Data Integrity: Uphold best practices for data integrity and database management.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation, including data standards and procedures.
• Consulting: Provide expert technical support and consultation to clients.
• AWS Cloud Management: Manage and optimize databases within AWS Cloud environments, ensuring efficient use of cloud resources.
• Cloud Integration: Develop and implement strategies for integrating on-premises databases with AWS Cloud services.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure databases in the AWS Cloud comply with security policies and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years as a Database Administrator with a focus on MS SQL.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with AWS Cloud services and infrastructure.
• Expertise: Deep understanding of database security, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent analytical skills, and effective communication skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:

• Consulting Experience: Previous experience in a consulting role, delivering technical support and solutions.
• Certifications: AWS and/or MS SQL certifications.
• Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with other database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud).
