S&P Global Loan Settlement is an electronic trade processing platform utilized to efficiently settle syndicated loan trades. Used by lenders, agent banks, custodians, trustees, borrowers and legal professionals, Loan Settlement automates loan trade affirmation, confirmation and matching to facilitate the processing of loan trades.
One of the S&P Global Loan Settlement platforms, ClearPar, is the market leader in trade settlement. The newer S&P Global Loan Platforms site reduces settlement delays through access to real-time agent bank data from trading counterparties and integration with client systems.What\'s in it for you:You will have the opportunity to be collaborative across functional teams to define and deliver loan settlement solutions.You will participate in global projects with varied topics and time frames and with high impact across the products.Responsibilities:The Loans Platforms Business Analyst will be responsible for working closely across product, QA, operations, engineering, commercial, sales and customers.Elicit, understand, analyze, document and sign-off requirementsUnderstand business needs, conduct requirements walk-throughs sessions with business and technology, assess solutions and act as a liaison between the two functions through effective communicationData and risk analysisUtilize analytical tools to develop workflows, cross functional and process flow diagramsCoordinate tasks across different functional groups and provide regular status updates to management.User acceptance testingCreate user guide/process manualsWhat we\'re looking for in an ideal candidate:Minimum of 5-7 years relevant business analyst work experience in the financial markets preferredBachelor or Master\'s degree in business administration, technology, or similar disciplineStrong written and verbal communications with a strong aptitude for presenting thoughts and ideas to all levels of internal and external stakeholdersSelf-directed, highly motivated with the ability to work independentlyStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technology and product positioning to both a business and technical audienceThorough understanding of the software development life cycleStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAttention to detailAptitude to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environmentAbility to build strong working relationships in a collaborative settingAbility to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.Comfortable presenting to and negotiating requirements and deliverables with customersExpertise in MS Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPointUnderstanding of XML and relational databases/SQL a plusAny experience in the syndicated loans space is an advantageAbility to multitask and work under pressureTeam playerAbout S&P Global Market IntelligenceAt S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global we understand the importance of accurate, deep and insightful information.
