COMMERCIAL BANKING - LOAN AND AGENCY SERVICES DESCRIPTION - Deal Set up, Servicing, Secondary Loan Trading Support The CB - Loan Operations team is responsible for servicing a portfolio of syndicated (Agency and non-Agency) loans across 12 geographies in Asia, 6 in EMEA and the region of North America. The team also provides support to Secondary Loan Trading Settlements and Deal Set-up . Support is provided for the held to maturity and held to sale portfolios for the Commercial and Investment customers of the bank. Servicing involves deal set up, processing new and subsequent draws, pay downs, rollovers, interest and fees application, sub-participation support. Given global nature of the service delivery, the team provides 24/5 business support and partners with internal & External stakeholders across the globe, cutting across various time zones. Operations Analyst (OA) - Loan & Agency- Wholesale Lending Services TheOAis a key position within the Wholesale Loan Operations. The candidate is expected to deliver on the following tasks and requirements - Core : Read and interpret complex legal credit agreements and related documentation, working with attorneys when applicable Negotiating with customers, bankers, underwritersand legal counsel on legal and policy components of loan documents Reviewing case and documentation summaries prepared by analysts Initiate credit set up as per credit agreements and loan activity (fundings, payments) as instructed by the Agent in accordance with credit agreements Initiate and reconcile automated funds\' movements in accordance with client/agent instructions Regularly updating closing database to reflect closing status and assisting in the creation of departmental procedures. Provide information as requested by agent, business partners, middle office Monitor control reports and update applicable comments Participate in system testing as needed, which may occur during non-business hours Assist with any administrative tasks associated with the terms of a Credit Agreement Perform quality control on new deals, restructures, and amendments by thoroughly understanding the credit agreement and verifying system set up accuracy Back up co-workers and work with various special projects or other tasks as assigned Skills/Attributes/Academic Qualifications needed: Bachelor\'s degree with a minimum of 3 - 4 years of relevant or lending service experience in a back office/BFSI space Candidates with knowledge of loan systems like loan IQ will hold an added advantage Candidates must have knowledge of nostro/cash matching, General Ledger reconciliation and SWIFT and remittance systems Strong problem solving and investigative skills to undertake analysis, resolve issues/problems related to loans operations Strong MS office and Analytical skills Works with a risk & control mindset Open to shifts Ability to work under pressure and deal with high volumes Good communication skills
