Load Man
Job Description
The Load Man is responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of materials and products in a factory setting. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure the smooth operation of the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Loading and Unloading:
• Safely load and unload materials and products from trucks and shipping containers.
• Use forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary to transport goods.
• Inventory Management:
• Assist in inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials handled.
• Organize and store materials in designated areas to maximize efficiency.
• Maintenance:
• Keep loading and unloading areas clean and organized.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment used in loading operations.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or factory setting is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to [X] lbs).
• Basic math skills for inventory management.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
