Roles&Responsibilities: TheAssociate willreporttotheManager(ClimateTeam)and:
  • Support to further build the Livelihoods and Agriculture thematic focus area of the alliance byundertaking strategy development, plans, and procedures, and direct and indirect engagementwithvariousstakeholders.
  • Develop short-term and long-term engagement plans with partners to achieve the goals of thealliance.Takingfullownershipof suchplansendtoendin consultationwith the Manager.
  • Supportstakeholdermanagementincludingdirectengagementwithvariousalliancestakeholdersincluding philanthropists, funders, government organizations, NGOs, civil society organizations,etc.topavethewayformeaningful long-termcollaborations
  • Leverage the work of alliance member organizations, funders, and civil society groups to enablesmoothfunctioningandworkingof theallianceandensuredeliverymanagement
  • Support research and knowledge-building efforts within the alliance through research reports,knowledge products, andother collaterals
  • Maintain a comprehensive pipeline management system to track progress on relationships builtwithdifferent funders
  • Support in organizing conferences and building platforms aimed at educating and engaging withthesector;co-facilitatesessions, andmanageend-to-endlogisticsfor theseprograms.

DesiredSkills&Experience:
  • GraduatesandPostgraduates with3-5yearsof workexperienceinthesocialimpactsector.
  • Experienceinruralandcommunitydevelopment,especiallyAgricultureandLivelihoodswillbeanadded advantage.
  • Strong program and stakeholder management abilities and excellent project management skillsto support thesmoothfunctioningof thealliance.
  • The ability to come up with new and unique ideas and tends to be seen as value-added inbrainstormingsettings.Adeptatscopingoutthelengthanddifficultyoftasksandprojectsandanabilitytobreakdown processsteps.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, charisma, and someone who commands attention and can managegroupprocessesduringpresentations.
  • Exposureto philanthropy,strategy,privatefoundations,andCSRwouldbeadefinite advantage.
