Litigation Management:
- Drafting Notices, Criminal Complaints, Suits, Write Petitions and Appeals and appearing for and representing on behalf of Organization in Criminal, Civil, Arbitration before judicial and quasi judicial courts and authorities;
- Provide prompt advice and guidance to the business teams to resolve litigations and identify risk and manage risk in business practices, and company contracts.
- Strategize and Manage all litigation matters, Suit for breach of contracts, loss and damages, recoveries, complaints under 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act, consumer matters, summary proceedings etc., across various courts including Supreme Court of India.
- Manage litigation tracker and present periodic updates and implement innovative MIS methods and tools for effective administration of compliance, documentation and litigation.
- Draft, review written representations and replies to various governmental and quasi government authorities
- Work with external lawyers, consultants for specific engagements.
Documentation:
- Ensure preparation of responses to show cause notices and other documents in conjunction with the compliances.
- Manage litigation tracker and present periodic updates and implement innovative MIS methods and tools for effective administration of compliance, documentation and litigation.
- Draft, review written representations and replies to various governmental and quasi government authorities
- Periodic reporting to General Counsel
People & Relationship Management:
- Recommend training as required for various functions.
- Establish great working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Law Enforcement Officers.
