Job specifications - Litigation and Real Estate Manager


• Main Mission:
To lead and manage the litigation and real estate activities of Lactalis India Companies.





• Role / Position: Litigation and Real Estate Manager
Designation: Manager/ Senior Manager



• Position based in Chennai, Corporate Office.




• Reporting:




To Legal Head, Lactalis India, Chennai



• Scope of responsibilities:




• To initiate/ close litigations of Lactalis India entities
• To prepare litigation tracker pan- India basis and report case updates
• To appoint/ liaise with external advocates and ensure due representation before various Courts and Tribunal.
• To liaise with Police Authorities.
• To manager real estate transactions of Lactalis India entities.
• To liaise with revenue/ registration authorities in completing real estate transaction.
• To handle valuation of real estate asset and support in sale process.





• Profile expected:




• Educational Qualification : Law Degree from recognised University in India (Desirable).
• Experience - Min 4 - 6 yrs (preferably dairy/ manufacturing industry)
• Travel 80% - hence to be open for travel.
• Must have working experience in Litigation (Dues Recovery) and Real Estate transactions in Southern States.
• The candidate should be a matured, independent and experienced lawyer with strong litigation background.
• Languages : English and Hindi (mandatory) /Telugu, Tamil, French (Optional)
