We adapt, innovate and simplify to achieve stability, speed and scalability in order to achieve SAP gowth and margin business objectives. • We are seeking a highly skilled Linux KVM DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic PlusOne Compute Plantform Engineering team managing our large-scale IAAS cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux systems and KVM virtualization, with a passion for automation, performance optimization, and innovative problem-solving.
• As a DevOps Engineer, you will manage and maintain Linux-based systems and KVM hypervisors in a large-scale cloud infrastructure. Optimize system performance, conduct regular monitoring, and implement proactive troubleshooting measures. Configure and manage virtual networking, storage solutions, and security in a virtualized environment.
• Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge sharing and operational efficiency
• We are cultivating a DevOps culture, adhering to the motto \'You build it, you run it\'. You will join the on-call rotation, sharing responsibilities with the rest of the PlusOne team to ensure continuous support coverage and demonstrate your commitment to the role.
• Expertise in running cloud infrastructure environments from Compute perspective with an understanding of other stacks such as network and storage
• Change, Incident, Problem and Escalation management
• Drive continuous improvement & enhancements

What you bring:

• B.E, B.Tech or M.C.A

• 5-7 years professional experience, out of which minimum 5 years in similar position
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a distributed organization of highly motivated and qualified individuals
• Drive for and focus on results and execution
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
• Strong presentation and communication skills at all levels, including written and verbal
• Good Team player

• Expert level administration skills in various Linux distributions such as Gardenlinux, CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL
• Experience with libvirt for managing KVM environments and virsh command-line tool and libvirt XML configuration.
• Expert level skill in Kubernetes (CKA certification is preferred)
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in virtualized environments.
• Strong understanding of file systems, kernel tuning and performance optimization in tuning and optimizing both the host and guest systems for optimal performance.
• Expertise in system monitoring and troubleshooting using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus.
• Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Zsh) and pyhon, golang for automation tasks
• Experience working in large-scale datacenter/cloud/network environments

• Experience regarding DevOps and the agile development methodologies
• General knowledge about various SAP solutions and products like HANA, ERP and/or BW
