We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Linux Systems Engineer at the junior to mid-senior level to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux-based systems and servers, and will support the deployment and management of cloud-based solutions. This role involves conducting regular system checks, troubleshooting issues, optimizing system performance, and providing comprehensive documentation.
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems and servers.
- Assist in the deployment and management of cloud-based solutions.
- Conduct regular system checks and troubleshoot Linux systems issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize system performance.
- Provide support and documentation for Linux-based Systems.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
- System Administration: Experience in system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Linux systems.
- Cloud Solutions: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
- Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl for automation and system management tasks.
- Performance Optimization: Ability to analyze and optimize system performance, including resource utilization and system tuning.
- Documentation: Excellent documentation skills to create clear and comprehensive guides and procedures.
- Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with development teams and other stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Security Awareness: Knowledge of system security best practices and experience implementing security measures.
