About The Role
Roles and Responsibilities
Job Title: Cloud & Linux Administrator
Job Scope

• 
  Strong hands-on experience on all forms of Azure including IaaS, PaaS, Azure Insight, NSG, AKS, Blob, Load Balancer etc
• Extensive experience architecting, designing, solutioning, implementing and managing operations of Azure.
• Should have good exposure on DevSecOps using Azure DevOps, SonarQube with DevOps know-how building and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment, build and test automation technologies like ansible, chef, puppet, docker, jenkins, etc.
• Have demonstrated capability on Linux (preferably Ubuntu) and Windows OS.
• Capability architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability with DR.
• Understanding of complex enterprise environments and current technology areas like cloud and mobility
• Certification: It is important that applicants for the cloud security engineer position have relevant Azure certifications
• Teamwork abilities with excellent communication skills
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills: It is also essential that applicants have the necessary technical skills to constantly monitor systems to identify threats and vulnerability, execute security architecture, and ensure there are no external threats
• Manage and execute cloud security solutions across lifecycle strategy, implementation, and operations.
• Capable to fix security evaluation reports on cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP), cloud native platforms (PCF, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.), and Software as a Service solutions
• Provide recommendations for improvement and reduce risk by fixing vulnerabilities raised by Security team and act as a change agent to ensure Availability as well as scalability and has ability to performance tune the environ while working with 3rd party vendors.

Minimum Requirements

• 
  5-6 years of hands-on experience working cloud security.
• Bachelors degree in Information Systems or Computer Science.
• Strong understanding of incident detection and response process and procedure
• Communication skills: In executing their duties, cloud security engineers must communicate with various audiences, including business leaders, engineers, clients, and team members. It is important that they have great verbal communication skills to convey information to the relevant audience. They also require exceptional written communication skills, documentation and reporting.

Education And Experience

• 
  Bachelor or Masters in electronics, computer, software engineering or other relevant discipline.
