• Provide technical consultancy and take part in system administration, configuration, monitoring, and project delivery
• Prepare server related documentation, such as installation procedure, training guide & testing support
• Control and manage change / release to ensure quality implementation
• Operate and maintain large estate of system environments to ensure security, availability, capacity planning and ever-greening
• Participate in incident / crisis support to provide speedy recovery of service and the subsequent root cause analysis and the implementation of improvement actions
• Implement system environment according to the project requirement and platform pattern offerings, including High Availability

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or minimum 12 years exp as Linux Admin
• Extensive hands-on experience in VMware & Redhat Linux 6/7/8 administration including installation, configuration and maintenance
• Storage configuration on Unix/Linux as per group standard
• Install and configuration VCS as per group standard along with VCS expert
• Solid experience in providing consultancy services and technical advice on Unix/Linux/VCS projects
• Troubleshoot on Unix/Linux and clusterware
• Conduct operational acceptance test like switchover, reboot test
• Conduct server hardening and compliance configuration
• Good command of both written and spoken English
• A proactive personality with self-motivation.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skill
• Able to work effectively under pressure
