Job Description

End-to-end ownership of Linux OS infrastructure. Skills and Experience:

• Proficient in advanced troubleshooting of Linux OS and applications.
• Responsible for providing technical guidance to L1 and L2 resources.
• Proficiency in OpenLDAP and IPC management of OpenLDAP.
• Installation and configuration of OpenLDAP.
• Monitoring OpenLDAP instances, conducting health checks, and managing alerts.
• Regularly perform incident, problem, and change management.
• Start, stop, and restart OpenLDAP services.
• Deploy schemas, check application load, and manage platform performance.
• Handle standard configuration changes, log management, and inventory management.
• Configure OpenLDAP clients and provide basic troubleshooting.
• Support all hosted Linux servers with multiple instances and stages.
• Provide technical support to clients via email and phone, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ensure uptime for various client projects being monitored and managed.
• Close tickets within SLA and escalate as needed according to defined escalation procedures.
• Raise and update tickets in the ticketing system for all handled issues.
• Generate daily shift reports detailing issues handled and escalations.
• Work on change requests and new installations.
• Apply patches to the OS and applications or perform upgrades as required with approval from respective Team Leaders.
