Job Description

Linux Administration Advanced experience in System Administration in RHEL Linux Must be able to install new Linux OS releases configure upgrade patch and secure servers Good to have Knowledge of RedHat Satellite server is desirable Must be have working exposure on OS vulnerabilities and their remediations Must be able to work on optimising the server resources tuning the performance of the servers Must be working on providing the Root cause analysis and fixing the repeated issues Troubleshooting problems pertaining to system performance network administration Performing all configuration changes to software and patching firmware upgrades System performance through native tools vmstat top SAR etc Primary skill Logical Volume Management Volume Group File system creations etc Hardening of OS Problem management for recurring issues alerts Familiarity with core OS services such as SSH telnet FTP NFS DNS DHCP Samba Azure

Good exposure to Azure Cloud and its services Advanced Experience in Installing upgrading and managing Linux Virtual machines on Azure Experience in Azure VM Creation deletion migration of VMs taking snapshots of VMs etc Experience in bacukup policies on Azure VM and restoring
