Job Description

Job responsibilities for a Linux Admin L2 and AWS Basic position. Linux Admin L2 Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and applications. This includes installing and configuring Linux distributions, setting up user accounts and permissions, managing file systems, and installing and configuring software applications. Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. This includes monitoring system performance, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, and troubleshooting system problems. Manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems. This includes creating and managing user accounts, assigning permissions to users and groups, and managing file systems and storage quotas. Implement and maintain security measures, including access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. This includes configuring firewalls, implementing access controls, and installing and configuring intrusion detection systems. Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper integration of software applications with the Linux infrastructure. This includes working with development teams to identify and resolve integration issues, and providing support for the deployment of software applications. Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Bash or Python. Stay up-to-date with Linux technologies, security vulnerabilities, and best practices.
