  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering (or Equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Enterprise Managed Service environment.
  • Flexible to work in 24X7 support environment.

What you will do Job Designation: Linux Engineer : As a part of Linux Team support deliverables the engineer is required to possess strong knowledge of Linux products and technologies and provide advanced level technical support to global HPE customers. Apply advanced technical knowledge to operate one or more technology areas (e.g. server administration, technical security management, Database management and performance management) for customers that are critical or high-risk. Integrate technical knowledge and business understanding to create superior solutions for customers and HPE. Have a strong customer focus and sensitivity in dealing with diverse cultures and ability to learn and adapt quickly. Eligibility & Qualification: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering (or Equivalent). \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Enterprise technical support environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Relevant certification on the latest track like CCNA / RHCE will be an added advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Flexible to work in 24X7 support environment Key Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Resolve customer\xe2\x80\x99s issues via the telephone, email or remote sessions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Reproducing issues in-house and responding back in a timely manner. \xe2\x80\xa2 Regular follow ups with customers with recommendations, updates and action plans. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and escalate issues in a timely manner to vendor according to Standard Operating Procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Leverage internal technical expertise, including peers, mentors, knowledge base, community forums and other internal tools, to provide the most effective solutions to customer issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with other CoE/HW teams in diagnosing and isolating the cause of complex issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain quality on case documentation, SLA timeframes and operational metrics. \xe2\x80\xa2 Performs within the Productivity Measure of the team (scorecard) \xe2\x80\xa2 Incident Management: Resolve single and cross technology incidents independently. Lead the team members to resolve complex or cross technology incidents. \xe2\x80\xa2 Escalation Management: Identify, manage, and lead technical escalations. Participate in formal Escalation when required to support escalation especially during crisis. \xe2\x80\xa2 Problem Management: Proactively and reactively look for solutions to prevent problems from occurring in team/technology area. Perform Trend and Root cause analysis. \xe2\x80\xa2 Change Management/Implementation: Independently prepare, review, implement, rollback and test plan for change records. Perform risk and impact analysis for changes, May lead or participate in a Change Advisory Board. \xe2\x80\xa2 Patch and Security Management: Apply patch and security changes per policy. Proactively monitor the environment for patch compliance. Analyze patches for compatibility with each customer or internal infrastructure environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Configuration Management: Ensure Configuration Management Database (CMDB) entries are complete and accurate. \xe2\x80\xa2 Solution Design: Apply HPE solutions to meet highly complex customer and/or trade/HPE infrastructure needs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Quality: May provide feedback/influence change in internal and/or vendor-provided products/service offerings. \xe2\x80\xa2 Project Management: Participate, propose, and/or lead customer and internal projects across technology customers, including Knowledge Transfer (KT) and Transition. Create Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) \xe2\x80\xa2 Customer Relationship Management: Influence with customers and/or internal businesses/end users regarding operational details, solutions, and proposals. Becoming a trusted advisor to the customer. \xe2\x80\xa2 Teamwork: Work as part of a team, which may be virtual, global, and/or multi-functional. Lead teams which address operational processes and policies in work area. Seen as a resource to the team in one or more technical or business areas. Becoming a trusted advisor inside and outside the team/technology area. Technical Skills: \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong Knowledge in installing, configuring, troubleshooting and Administration of all flavors of Linux. \xe2\x80\xa2 Troubleshooting networking issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong understanding of Cluster Services \xe2\x80\xa2 Good knowledge on SAN technologies and converged solutions \xe2\x80\xa2 Good knowledge on HP Servers Blade, Rackmount and Virtual Connect OS/patch/security update/management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Disaster Recovery planning and conducting DR tests. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for Standard Operating procedures issuance to incident management team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare Service delivery reports and participate in customer meetings \xe2\x80\xa2 Routine Performance Analysis, Capacity analysis, security audit analysis reports to customer for necessary planned changes \xe2\x80\xa2 Linux Vulnerability assessment and Mitigation \xe2\x80\xa2 HPE Service Guard cluster on RHEL \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge on Patch deployment solutions \xe2\x80\x93 Redhat Satellite \xe2\x80\xa2 Working knowledge on SUSE Linux and HP UX Non-Technical Skills: \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent written and verbal communication skills Commitment to deliver high quality product and solution support. \xe2\x80\xa2 Must achieve excellent customer satisfaction \xe2\x80\xa2 Take ownership and work with high productivity and efficiency. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support other team members and seek their advice to make decisions on complex issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Deliver trainings when required.

What you will do
  • Admin, Operate and Manage Citrix Farm.
  • Experience in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7.x, 19 xx, 20 xx LTSR Suite
  • Experience in managing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops via Studio.
  • Experience in Citrix cloud, Citrix cloud connector
  • Install and configure FS Logix.
  • Experience in provisioning method using MCS technology.
  • Experience in publishing third party applications.
  • Good knowledge in PVS technology.
  • Good knowledge in random Citrix Desktops.
  • Good knowledge in Citrix Storefront, License Server, and Director
  • L2 troubleshooting skills in publishing and published applications.
  • Good knowledge in XenServer
  • Good knowledge in VMware vCenter and ESXi. Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve customer\xe2\x80\x99s issues via telephone, email, or remote sessions.
  • Reproducing issues in inhouse Lab.
  • Identify and escalate issues in a timely manner to vendor according to process guidelines.
  • Leverage internal technical expertise, including peers, mentors, knowledge base, community forums and other internal tools, to provide the most effective solutions to customer issues.
  • Collaborate with other technology teams in diagnosing and isolating the cause of complex issues
  • Maintain quality on case documentation, SLA timeframes and operational metrics.
  • Performs within the Productivity Measure of the team (scorecard).
  • Handle Problem Management, Post Incident Reviews and RCA.
