Job Title Line managerJob title:Line Manager : IGT & UltrasoundYour role:
- Manages a team of Production Workers, a Production line/s or a production process for delivery of product within timeliness.
- Prepares Production plan along with Unit Leader and Cross functional Team, Monitors the plan closely and reports the same on daily basis.
- Shift Scheduling , Leaves management and Resource planning of the team of around 25-35 members. Ensures discipline of team and making sure they follow the code of conduct.Supervises , coaches the team members for their skill development.
- Ensure the Safety practices are implemented and adhered by self and team members as per company policy.
- Takes responsibility for the quality of the products produced, the production yield and the DeFOA of Coils produced.
- Manages the WIP inventory with accuracy.
- Optimizes the cost of production through productivity saving, Cycle time reduction.
- Must have Knowledge of Lean principles , Lean tools : 5S, Kaizen, Yamazumi, TAKT , SMED etc.
- Must be flexible to work in 3 shift operations at factory.
1. Experience : 10-12 years
2. Skills : Lean, Six Sigma, Production planning and Control, Manpower handling, Shift planning, Microsoft Office
3. Education : BE (Mech/Elect/electronics)
4. Anything else : Flexible to work in sifts operation
