The position
As a Labvantage LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) Developer at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership in configuring, customizing, and deploying Labvantage LIMS implementation, development, and enhancements.
• Identify and implement process improvements for the development and maintenance of LIMS.
• Create and maintain system documentation. Build quality software that is intuitive, testable, and maintainable.
• Improve quality or match changing requirements. Provide clear and constructive comments for code reviews.
• Lead the conversation in our SCRUM ceremonies within your domain.




Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
• Master's or post graduate degree in the field of Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration.
• 10+ years of professional experience in Software Development, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in LIMS Product Management.
• Must have worked on at least 2 end-to-end LIMS implementation or upgrade projects.
• Experience in Labvantage LIMS modules such as Workflow, Array, Biobanking, LES, Batch, Kit, Reagent, Sample, DFD.
• Familiarity with Life Science GxP processes and other regulatory requirements of a lab.
• Strong technical skills in Java, JavaScript, SQL, and Groovy.
• Experience working in an Agile and DevOps environment. Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, communication, and consensus building skills. You must have high cultural sensitivity and ability to work across cultures. Above all you have passion for excellence with a concise, precise, and effective approach to problem solving and decision making.




About the department
You will be joining the DD&IT Product Supply unit at Novo Nordisk, which is responsible for more than 40 global IT systems, including Labvantage LIMS. Our strategic objective is to be the IT partner for the business, providing the necessary IT solutions and support to support Novo Nordisk's production solution and supply chain needs worldwide. Our systems are critical to key business processes, such as development, manufacturing, sales, and finance, and are used globally by all areas of the business. This includes SAP logistics modules like Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Advanced Planner Optimiser (APO), Plant Maintenance (PM), Quality Management (QM), Production Planning and Process Industry (PPPI), Warehouse Management (WM/EWM), Advanced Track and Trace for pharmaceutical (ATTP), and Global Batch Traceability (GBT).
