Requirement: Mid-Level Liferay Developer


Mandatory Skills: Liferay 7.2 DXP, Web technologies, JavaScript, Webservices, JSP, MS SQL Database.


Job Role/Description:

Primary Skills:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Liferay Full Stack development, preferable 7.2 (DXP) and above.
• Proficiency in Liferay DXP/CE, portlets, hooks, extensions, themes, and layouts.
• Strong command of Java, J2EE, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, Struts, and OSGi modular development.
• Proficient in developing and consuming RESTful/SOAP web services.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and database systems like MS SQL Database.
• Manage version control using Git, SVN, or similar tools.
• Experience with application servers like Tomcat.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of Liferay's headless APIs and microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Monitor application performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions.
• Provide day-to-day support for enterprise applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve application-related incidents, problems, and service requests within agreed SLAs.
• Create and maintain documentation, including troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles, and user manuals.
• Working hours between 1 PM IST and 10 PM IST.
• Participate in addressing critical issues outside regular business hours ensuring adequate support coverage when necessary.

Secondary Skills:

• Knowledge of ITIL practices
• Highly disciplined and organized.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well within the team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of software development methodologies and principles.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
