Job Description

Library Management

Maintain an updated catalog of books and digital resources. Ensure systematic classification and easy accessibility of books. Oversee book lending, returns, and overdue tracking. Maintain library infrastructure and report damaged/lost books.

Academic & Student Support

Assist students and teachers in finding relevant books and research materials. Promote reading habits through storytelling, book discussions, and reading programs. Teach research and information literacy skills to students.

Library Engagement & Events

Organize book fairs, reading challenges, and author interactions. Conduct library orientation for new students. Celebrate literary events like World Book Day.

Technology & Digital Resources

Manage digital collections, including e-books and research databases. Guide students in using online catalogs and research tools.

Collaboration & Administration

Work with teachers to integrate library resources into lesson plans. Plan the library budget and suggest new book acquisitions. Maintain a peaceful and engaging reading environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Library Science or Education.
Prior experience in school library management is preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Passion for fostering a reading culture among students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
