Job Description

The Liaison Officer serves as the primary contact person between [Company/Organization Name] and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication, collaboration, and coordination. Key Responsibilities:



Communication Management:

Handle and coordinate correspondence between the organization and external stakeholders. Ensure clear, accurate, and timely communication of key information.

Relationship Building:

Foster positive relationships with external stakeholders, clients, and partners. Work to enhance the company's reputation through professional and effective communication. Develop and maintain a network of contacts within various organizations or government departments.

Project Coordination:

Coordinate with various departments to ensure the smooth execution of projects involving external entities. Collaborate with teams to gather information, handle inquiries, and resolve issues related to external partners. Track project progress, deadlines, and communication to ensure the completion of deliverables.

Problem Solving:

Address issues or concerns raised by external partners, providing solutions or escalating to the appropriate department or leadership. Mediate between internal and external stakeholders to resolve conflicts or misunderstandings.

Reporting:

Prepare regular reports for management on external communications, project status, and other key activities. Provide updates to senior leadership regarding the status of ongoing liaison efforts and relationships.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of all communications with external parties. Ensure that all agreements, contracts, and communications are well-documented and compliant with organizational policies.

Compliance and Protocol:

Ensure that all liaison activities follow relevant laws, regulations, and protocols. Stay updated on changes in legal, regulatory, or organizational policies that might affect external communications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Proven experience in liaison, public relations, or a similar role. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and other communication tools. Knowledge of relevant industry-specific protocols or regulations (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications:



Master's degree or relevant certifications in public relations, communications, or business. Previous experience in the [specific industry, e.g., government, healthcare, corporate, etc.]. Knowledge of project management principles.
