As part of the Legal Operations and Technology team, the Legal Third Party Senior Analyst is accountable for maintenance of the Legal Third Party Program which comprises of the Third Party Management Policy & Standards, global procedures, systems and activities required for the effective risk management resulting from external and inter-affiliate relationships across the enterprise. Responsibilities: Leads framework maintenance efforts, specifically those related to updates to the Third Party Management Policy and Standards. Implements governance, methodologies and tools required for the effective oversight of Third Party Management practices across the enterprise. Responsible for maintaining the Legal TP repository Monitors legal third party performance and compliance with Terms, Citi Standards and benchmark activities against legal industry standards. Drives implementation of enterprise Third Party Management controls required to be assessed as part of the Managers Control Assessment, reviews results, and determines if remediation actions are appropriate. Critically evaluates the design and execution of the Program, identifies potential enhancements and drives implementation of improvements initiatives to continually strengthen the Program. Engages with functional leadership across the firm, including Legal, Independent Compliance Risk Management, Independent Risk, and Operational Risk Management, to enforce compliance with appropriate standards outlined in the TPM Policy and Standards Maintains strong working relationships with key business partners throughout the organization, including leadership roles in Risk, Resource Management & Operations, Finance, IT, HR and Legal. Provides metrics and associated reporting as appropriate for presentation to senior management Responsible for the performance management oversight of Legal Third Parties Program/project management: Lead strategic and operational legal projects and programs with on-time and on-budget results Standardize and automate manual processes to improve workflows, knowledge sharing and collaboration among legal team members and the business Collect and analyze financial and other relevant data from department tools and industry resources help legal leaders define objectives to provide metrics and dashboards that create efficiencies and optimize time and spending leverage data to help legal leaders make stronger business decisions. Work closely with other business lines (including sales, operations, IT, and finance) to assist legal leadership with aligning legal operations with business strategies, objectives, and goals. Manage outside counsel and other legal services vendor programs to ensure accountability and success. Responsible for legal support activities related to APAC legal Outsourcing Collaborates across control/support functions, lines of business and the legal team on programs, projects and matters of common interest to achieve coordinated and efficient process improvements and legal support solutions Serves as subject matter expert to global partners, key stakeholders and senior legal managers, by managing day-to-day legal TPM activities, providing advisory services and thought leadership, escalating as appropriate Represents the supported area or function in meetings and committees, globally and/or regionally with visibility to senior leadership Manages team templates/procedure memos/policies and functions as the first line of inquiry for questions regarding content May be responsible for mentoring and training junior members of the team Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications: 10+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably with some experience working in an in-house legal role within financial services Prior experience in Legal Operations, Third Party Management, and Reporting Experience working in corporate legal department, law firm, financial services, consulting, technology firm or related industry Must have excellent skills in MS Office.
