: Legal Associate II (6 - 10 Years Experience)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Contracts and Data Privacy Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT contract negotiation and management, coupled with an understanding of data privacy laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in global/US IT contracting. Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT contracts, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing contracts related to software licensing, reseller agreement, cloud subscription agreement, vendor agreements, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Liaison and work with external legal counsels in US /India and internal senior stakeholders from global sourcing and larger legal specialist.
• Sound knowledge of global data privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant laws. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain data privacy best practices throughout the organization.
• Ability to work independently and take contracts to closure as per BSC requirements. Conduct thorough risk assessments of IT contracts, identifying potential legal and operational risks. Provide strategic recommendations to mitigate risks and protect the company\'s interests.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with global stakeholders to facilitate smooth contract negotiations and resolution of any disputes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of contract management processes and data privacy practices within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in law. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 - 10 years of experience in IT contract negotiation and management, with a proven track record of successfully handling complex contracts.
• Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and others.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to cater global stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
• Experience in conducting data privacy impact assessments and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
• Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
• Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
