Responsibilities:• Draft, review and negotiate agreements in consultation with senior lawyers in the team / reporting manager. Agreements include Non-Disclosure Agreements, Master Services Agreements, Collaboration Agreements, Partnership Agreements, RFPs and other similar agreements across US, Canada, India, UK, and other geographies.
• Be open to learning and able to comprehend Quantiphi's playbook, and utilise available tools and resources to independently skill up, and grasp the company's positions on frequently negotiated clauses.
• Work closely and collaborate with the delivery, sales, finance and HR teams etc. to ensure adequate protection of Quantiphi's interests.
• Support senior lawyers in the team for execution of projects and strategic initiatives.
• Assist senior lawyers to respond to internal queries relating to contracting, client engagements, compliance etc.
• Provide well researched opinions to business stakeholders, and the Legal team with regard to queries; using tools such as PracLaw, Manupatra, and Westlaw.
• Maintain and organize legal document repository ensuring that all legal files and documents are properly stored and easily accessible.
• Support the larger team by conducting sessions and preparing training materials for internal stakeholders.
Requirement:• 0-2 years of experience drafting and negotiating agreements to closure, preferably with technology / IT MNCs; or a reputed law firm.
• Prior experience working in a global organisation with a cross- cultural environment will be an added advantage.
• Law Degree from a reputed and recognized university.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in English language.
• Clear understanding of basic legal concepts and willingness to learn / adapt new skills.
• Collaborative approach, self-starter attitude, flexibility and high integrity with a demonstrated track record of building relationships across teams and time zones.
• The ability to prioritize tasks, work in a fast- paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to do legal research and deep dive into matters.
