The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law with expertise in technology, cybersecurity, and mergers and acquisitions. They should possess in-depth knowledge of Indian, Australian, and US legal systems, along with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to draft and review complex legal documents. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal counsel across various areas, including corporate compliance, cybersecurity, property law, and litigation risk management.   • Reviewing and drafting agreements across India, Australia, and the United States, ensuring compliance with relevant corporate laws.
  • Providing expertise in tax compliance and advising on international tax matters.
  • Negotiating and drafting contracts for various business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Advising on hiring contracts, client contracts, and non-disclosure agreements, and ensuring enforcement when necessary.
  • Conducting due diligence for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including contract reviews and risk analysis.
  • Overseeing privacy policies and company governance to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Monitoring staff activities for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Technology and Cybersecurity Law:
  • Offering legal guidance on cybersecurity risks and compliance, including incident response and legal recourse.
  • Reviewing and advising on terms and conditions related to technology services and products.
  • Providing counsel on cybersecurity incident response and mitigation strategies.
Property and Intellectual Property Law:
  • Handling legal matters related to property transfers, buying, and selling across jurisdictions.
  • Offering expertise in Indian trusts, company law, and property law.
  • Advising on trademark law and protecting intellectual property rights.
Litigation and Risk Management:
  • Securing insurance for litigation protection and managing legal risks.
  • Conducting business risk analysis and providing strategic advice to mitigate legal risks.
Personal Legal Matters, and Other Matters:
  • Addressing personal legal matters for the Director of the company.
  • Ensuring compliance with medical regulations in India for our Medical Compliance service.
  • Providing guidance on anti-competition laws and trade practices.
  • India Government Tender responses and clause reviews.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Law and bar admission.
  • Extensive experience in corporate law, with a focus on technology, cybersecurity, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian, Australian, and US legal systems.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to review and draft complex legal documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
