The role requires legal expertise, business acumen and experience to advise the Company on its business contracts and agreements, strategic projects, marketing and distribution activities and harnessing inorganic growth opportunities, keeping in mind the best commercial interests of the organisation, applicable laws and Dr Reddys legal and compliance policies. Further, the role calls for strong, practical skillsets to work on large-scale business development and M&A deals, including hands-on experience in independently drafting, negotiating & concluding transaction documents for assets/business acquisition and in integration of such acquired assets/businesses.The role offers an opportunity to work as part of the legal team of a leading global generics company in its home-territory of India and to support and assist the business as they bring to market, a wide range of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products. The role requires the Legal Counsel to advise on laws relating to the drug control laws, FSSAI regulations, legal metrology rules, consumer interest legislations and the like.The role would be attractive to legal professionals who enjoy working on a wide variety of assignments that contribute to the strategic goal of the Business Unit while furthering the Companys motto of Good Health Cant Wait and increased access to affordable medicines for all.
