About Our Client

The Company is involved in managing and operating assets under various business and strategies of one of India\'s leading alternative investment fund management company across technical operations, commercial & regulatory, HSE, project finance and other corporate functions.

• Legal Communication and Documentation:
  • Draft and review material communications with government agencies, JV partners, regulators, and other counterparties.
  • Manage and maintain a repository of NDAs, engagement letters, and other essential documents.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including the investments team and internal departments, to ensure effective communication.

  Contract Management and Guidance:
  • Resolve legal issues, including contract interpretation, and provide guidance to teams on legal matters.
  • Draft, review, and standardize agreements and templates to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.

  Transaction Analysis and Due Diligence:
  • Analyze prospective transactions from due diligence to closing stages.
  • Review key documents and disclosure letters to assess risks and opportunities, and oversee the CP and closing stages.

  Litigation and Legal Operations:
  • Manage and oversee all litigations for portfolio companies, including reviewing filings and formulating litigation strategies.
  • Prepare litigation MIS and ensure detailed involvement in legal proceedings.

  Legal Compliance and Regulatory Liaison:
  • Stay updated with key legal developments, case laws, and regulatory changes.
  • Work closely with commercial and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and alignment with legal requirements.

The Successful Applicant

• 7-10 years of post-qualification experience;

• Should be fluent in English with strong drafting and oral skills;

• Goal oriented approach and self-motivated and keen to continuously learn and improve;

• Prior experience in energy/ infrastructure sector and a law firm is preferred (not mandatory).
