We are looking for a Manager to join our dynamic legal team and help navigate thecomplex landscape of legal, regulatory, and compliance matters within the real money gaming sector.Role Overview:As a Manager , you will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support across the organization, with a primary focus on ensuring legal compliance, and risk management within the real money gaming space. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including product, marketing, compliance, and finance teams, to providestrategic legal counsel and ensure that all activities align with relevant laws and regulations in India.Key Responsibilities:xefx82xb7 Legal Compliance & Risk Management:o Oversee the legal aspects of the company's operations, ensuring compliance with Indian gaming laws, online gambling regulations, and other relevant legal frameworks.o Advise on regulatory matters, including licensing, compliance, advertising, and consumer protection laws in the context of real money gaming.o Stay up to date with evolving regulations in the gaming and tech sectors to ensure the business remains compliant.o Conduct legal risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate legal and operational risks.o Assist in obtaining and renewing licenses and permits necessary for the company's operations in Indiao Advise senior management on corporate governance matters, including compliance with company law, data privacy laws, and internal policies.o Develop and implement internal policies, guidelines, and training programs to ensure that all employees are aware of legal requirements and best practices.xefx82xb7 Contract Management:o Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor agreements, game / platform licensing agreements, marketing agreements, collections and payment support services, and user terms & conditions.o Drafting and final vetting of all sell side and buy side agreements, lease deeds, NDA, addendums, policies and guidelines etc. in discussion with customer, vendor, landlord, concerned departments. Includes interaction andnegotiation with customers or vendors on important clauses. Ensure company has valid contracts that protect company's interest with all the parties and comply with applicable laws and protect the company's interests.xefx82xb7 Cross-functional Collaboration:o Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development,and finance, to provide proactive legal support and mitigate potential risks inbusiness strategies.o Offer guidance on promotional campaigns, user data management, and otheroperational matters to ensure they align with legal and regulatory standards.xefx82xb7 Experience:o Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in legal practice, with a focus on gamingsectors.o In-depth knowledge of Indian laws relating to online gaming, gambling, dataprivacy, intellectual property, and consumer protection.o Experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and dispute resolution.o Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape governing real moneygaming in India.o Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.o Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively across different business functions.o Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders.o Familiarity with international gaming laws and cross-border compliance is aplus.Qualifications:xefx82xb7 Education: LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized university; additional qualifications such as an LLM or professional certifications in relevant fields are a plus.Desired Attributes:xefx82xb7 Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently.xefx82xb7 Detail-oriented with a strong ability to balance legal risk with business needs.xefx82xb7 Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.xefx82xb7 Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented culture.Why join us: Merit-based culture that thrives on self-motivated & driven individuals who are set out to make a successful career in India's fastest-growing Fintech Organization.
