We are seeking a General Legal Advisor to provide legal counsel and strategic guidance for a fast-growing software company serving telecom operators globally. This role involves overseeing contractual negotiations, regulatory compliance, intellectual property protection, and risk management while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Contract Negotiation & Management: Draft, review, and negotiate software licensing, SaaS agreements, partnership contracts, and service agreements with telecom operators and other stakeholders.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with telecom regulations, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), cybersecurity laws, and export controls in multiple jurisdictions.
• Risk & Dispute Management: Identify legal risks, provide proactive advice, and support dispute resolution, including managing external counsel when necessary.
• Intellectual Property Protection: Safeguard company IP, including software patents, trademarks, and trade secrets, while ensuring compliance with open-source licensing requirements.
• Corporate Governance & Policy Development: Advise on corporate legal matters, employment laws, and internal compliance policies.
• Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Provide legal due diligence and support for potential M&A or strategic partnerships.

Requirements:

• J.D. or equivalent law degree with bar admission in a relevant jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate law, commercial contracts, or technology transactions, preferably within the telecom or enterprise software industry.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS agreements, telecom regulations, and international business law.
• Experience handling data privacy, cybersecurity, and intellectual property matters.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with a business-oriented approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities.
