Job description Have sound legal knowledge on various corporate other regulatory compliance applicable to Indian entities. Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations Has mainly focused on negotiation of legal contracts and handled agreements on behalf of the company. Prepare the appropriate legal documents for trial or court proceedings. Organize, draft and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing systems as per the company policy. Examine the legal issues related to new products and services. Protect the company against legal risks and violations Get affidavits and other formal statements that may be used as evidence in court. Co-ordinate with clients, witnesses, lawyers and outside vendors to schedule interviews, meetings, and execution of agreements. Providing legal advice to businesses on all kinds of matters, such as contracts, agreements and regulatory measures and handling complaint. Represent the company in legal proceedings. Requirements: The candidate must be a qualified lawyer from a reputed law school or university. Licensed to practice law from the State Bar Association. 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. Should be good at networking and be research oriented. Key Competencies: Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Highly analytical with strong attention to detail. Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills Should be adept in handling legal contracts with hands on knowledge in the legal matters concerning corporates and non-profits in India.
