Position Title: Legal Advisor
Department: Legal
Key Responsibilities:
• Legal Research and Advisory:
• Provide legal guidance on business operations, contracts, and corporate governance.
• Research and analyze legal issues, case law, and regulations affecting the organization.
• Advise on the interpretation of laws and regulations and their implications for the organization.
• Contract Management:
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure that contracts are legally sound and aligned with organizational goals.
• Advise on contract disputes, obligations, and breaches.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure that the organization complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Identify potential legal risks and provide recommendations for mitigating them.
• Support the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
• Litigation Support:
• Advise on disputes and litigation, and coordinate with external counsel when necessary.
• Assist in preparing for legal proceedings, including gathering evidence and reviewing documents.
• Training and Awareness:
• Conduct training sessions for staff on legal matters, including compliance, intellectual property, and contractual obligations.
• Raise awareness about legal issues and changes in law that affect the organization.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Liaise with external legal professionals, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Represent the organization in legal matters when necessary.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent.
• Additional qualifications (e.g., Master of Laws (LL.M.), Bar Admission) are advantageous.
• Experience:
• At least 1 years of experience in legal practice, preferably in a corporate or in-house legal environment.
• Experience in contract law, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and corporate governance is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of legal principles and regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear, concise advice.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in legal research and use of legal databases.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
