Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Lecturer to join our esteemed faculty team. As a Math Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures and tutorials to undergraduate students. Your expertise in mathematics will be crucial in fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematical concepts among students.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lectures and conduct tutorials on various mathematical topics, including but not limited to calculus, algebra, statistics, and discrete mathematics.
• Develop and update course materials such as syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, and assessments.
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and promote student engagement.
• Provide guidance and academic support to students through office hours and online communication platforms.
• Evaluate and grade students' assignments, exams, and projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure alignment of course objectives and curricular coherence.
• Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or higher in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. PhD preferred.
• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics at the college or university level.
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in mathematical concepts and theories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex mathematical ideas clearly and effectively.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with educational technology and learning management systems (LMS).
• Active involvement in mathematical research or professional organizations.
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and pedagogical approaches in mathematics education.
