Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled LMS Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of our Learning Management System (LMS) using Moodle. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing LMS projects from concept to completion and a deep understanding of Moodle's capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development of the LMS platform using Moodle, including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Customize and enhance Moodle functionalities to align with organizational needs.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, educators, and stakeholders to integrate and optimize course content and user experience.
• Design and implement scalable and secure solutions for LMS management, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to identify and fix bugs and issues.
• Integrate third-party tools, plugins, and APIs to extend Moodle's capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members and end-users.
• Maintain and update LMS documentation, including system configurations, processes, and user manuals.
• Monitor and evaluate the LMS to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in LMS technologies and incorporate relevant features into the platform.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in end-to-end LMS development with a strong focus on Moodle.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Moodle theming, plugin development, and customization.
• Deep understanding of LMS standards like SCORM, AICC, and xAPI.
• Familiarity with web services and APIs for Moodle integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other LMS platforms and educational technologies.
• Knowledge of instructional design principles and e-learning best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based hosting environments and services.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of mobile-responsive design and development.
