Learning & Development Executive

Every Sofitel team member is an Ambassador. An Ambassador represents Sofitel's brand and its values, at all times. This position is responsible for managing the learning process within the hotel. The Training & Development Manager ensures that all learning and development activities are completely aligned with the culture, values and strategy of the hotel. He/she monitors and analyzes staff training needs and oversee and implement all departmental training programs.

Key Expectations:

  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language, knowledge of Fresh language can be added advantage
  • Good conduct, behaviour and inter personal skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office, outlook and people management software
  • Approachable, friendly, open minded, empathetic and welcoming
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Conduct behaviourial-based training sessions as per Accor academy standards
  • Actively initiate relationships and partnerships with industry associations, external training companies and academic counsels related to the hospitality industry
  • Maintain an up to date internal data/ documentation related to training sessions & activities conducted within the organization.
  • Receive, register and sort incoming applications for industrial exposure trainings and action accordingly. Screen applications to ensure they meet 5 star standards.
  • Assist new ambassadors with all documentation & processes of trainings assigned that is as per Accor academy standards.
  • Maintain an ongoing Training Calendar to ensure learning resources and opportunities are maximize.
  • Prepare and submit training reports.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from a reputable Hotel Management Institute, Masters degree in Human resources will be given preference
  • Minimum 1year of experience preferably from luxury background
  • Any certificate related to training will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint

Your team and working environment:
  • You would be reporting to the Learning and Development Manager.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring Heartist service culture at the hotel
  • To work closely with all other departments
