• Development Engineer will be responsible for design, development, delivery and support of the Wealth Management Software.

• Should be in a position to provide On-Call production support on a rotation basis.

• Interacts with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

• Work in a agile framework and follow all ceremonies and cadences and Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Write functional and technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
• Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.
• Completes all the required documentation and procedures. Raise risks with mitigation plan
• Trains and communicates with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams on systems application.
• May deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring:Knowledge / Experience

• Excellent understanding of SDLC.
• Hands-on experience and excellent understanding and knowledge of C, Pointers and Data Structures.
• Hands-on experience on LINUX / UNIX environment.
• Experience and good understanding on Pro*C and relational database will be an added advantage.
• Exposure on FORTRAN, PL1 and .Net will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of the financial services marketplace.
• Excellent trouble shooting and analytical skills.
• Good Experience on Scripting languages.
• Readiness to work on FIS proprietary languages.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

• Fluent in English.
• Excellent communicator \xe2\x80\x93 ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
• Attention to detail \xe2\x80\x93 track record of authoring high quality documentation.
