- Performing accurate recording; documentation and reporting of all transactions within agreed SLAs and KPIs
- Analysing project costs; providing insight and consistent guidance to project managers and relevant stakeholders
- Monitoring project costs against agreed budget and ensure the budgetary compliance
- Ensuring all transactions have been accurately accounted for as part of period end cycle and before project closure in line with the project handbook (guidance document)
- Ensuring transfer from construction-in-progress to fixed assets is in line with Tesco Group Accounting Policy
- Support Project Manager and Finance Business Partner in project appraisal; governance and delivery of project with analysis; insights and adjustments as require
- Source asset tags from asset controllers/project managers/asset admin and perform asset registration
- Ensuring compliance with Risk & Control Matrix Framework relating to Projects off system and on system processes
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
- Identifying operational improvements and finding solutions by applying CI tools and techniques
- Actively participate in functional finance strategy and organisational strategy
- Support internal and external audit requirements
-Challenge status quo and drive process improvement ideas
- Support new joiners in the team to learn the process
- Drive continuous improvement in the process and act as a spoc for the team
- Be the SME and SPOC for the vertical and ensure knowledge is up to date on new processes and ways of working
