Job Description


You will be responsible for developing and implementing the short and long-term operational plans for Sports units of RoundGlass through efficient budgetary and financial management, deployment of policies and procedures, and project managing the operations of the multiple sports units. You will lead the sports operations functional team to plan and execute the strategic priorities of the various constituents of the Sports business of RoundGlass. What you\'ll do: Strategize and develop the Sports Operations functional plan of multiple sporting units (Football / Hockey / Tennis) in alignment with the strategic direction of RG Sports Deliver operational excellence in the functional scope by leveraging a collaborative and consultative approach with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders Provide leadership on decision-making on a multitude of policies, procedures, regulatory, procurement, and resource allocation requirements for the efficient functioning of RG Sports business units Collaborate on financial planning, budgeting, monitoring, and control processes related to the operational scope, and ensure short and long-term goals and objectives are sufficiently financed for operational continuity track financial metrics, conduct budget reviews and plan for cost efficiency of operational scope Build strategic partnerships with external stakeholders / institutions to enable the growth and development of RG Sports operations and services in a manner that presents a compelling positive image of RG Sports engage with external stakeholders to ensure day to day smooth functioning (e.g. with sports federations, vendors, players, community members etc.) of RG Sports business units Develop and mature internal governance mechanisms to report, review, monitor and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the operational constituents of RG Sports units Review operational processes to ensure continuity and effectiveness of risk management, both financial and reputational for the Club / Academy / Sports units of RG Provide periodic updates to leadership council about key operational plans, including identifying problems and opportunities, formulating potential solutions and facilitating discussions / recommendations for the leadership council Facilitate Leadership members\' commitment on the strategic direction of RG Sports operations function Set key priorities for functional staff, relevant to the RG Sports operational plan collaborate with People & Culture in the continuous cycle of attracting, developing and retaining top talent. Who we\'re looking for: Bachelor\'s degree with advanced education in sports management or a related program 20+ years of related experience in sports management of a professional sports setup or a related / complimenting experience international experience is preferred Knowledge of international and local professional leagues, regulations, practices and procedures in the sports domain Proven ability in leading operational enhancement engagements and ability to translate business priorities into practical and metric driven operating plans for multiple sports entities Demonstrated ability to adapt and navigate in an environment of ambiguity and fast paced changes High degree of emotional intelligence to drive a collaborative culture that inspires passion for achieving results Ability to proactively sense and resolve conflicts, and negotiate deals to create value for the business and its stakeholders Superior communication skills to influence a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders Leadership orientation and style that attracts, develops and retains top talent An authentic passion to engage in long term value creation in the emerging space of holistic Wellbeing Why RoundGlass: RoundGlass was built on the vision that wellbeing should be at the very center of our life journey.
