Job Description

Job Title: Lead UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle)Location: DelhiRoles and Responsibility:

• Lead the design and development of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) for Defence and Aerospace applications.
• Oversee and manage the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of UGVs with other systems.
• Conduct performance and risk assessments to optimize UGV capabilities and safety.
• Implement best practices for design, testing, and validation of UGV components and systems.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to enhance UGV performance and efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to understand and address their requirements and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project timelines.

Skills AND Qualifications:Education:

• Engineering degree in a relevant field

Certification Required:

• Any relevant certifications in Defence and Aerospace design and development (preferred)

Behavioural Skills:

• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Defence and Aerospace design principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other relevant design tools
• In-depth knowledge of UGV systems, sensors, and autonomous navigation technologies
• Experience with prototype development, testing, and validation processes
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for Defence and Aerospace products

Non-Negotiable Skills:

• Experience in Defence and Aerospace design
• Engineering degree in a relevant field
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities

Experience:

• 12-14 years of experience in the Defence and Aerospace industry
