  • Work closely with internal and partner airline IT & business teams to review and measure the performance of the IT solutions (Eg: Seamless Check In, cross selling of Seats, etc) interaction. Capture / document details pertaining to any gaps or inconsistencies identified in the solution, identify technical requirements and translate to adequate technical stories and collaborate with the stakeholders to prioritize the enhancement / fix as appropriate.
  • Manage the overall product backlog delivery and provide quantitative expertise (data analysis, statistics, forecasting, simulation, and optimization). Also take charge of planning, creating and prioritizing the necessary technical stories for the team, to enable incremental delivery of the backlog items.
  • Analyze operational performance numbers, trends, and data to enable decision making (product stability enhancements, backlog prioritization, innovative product developments, etc) and help optimize the productivity of the squad.
  • Assist Business Product Owner with prioritizing stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
  • Actively collaborate with the internal and partner testing team to measure performance, validate the completeness of any fixes being implemented and the overall product quality.
  • Manage risks, issues, and develop remediation plans.
  • Ability to formally report on findings in a concise, understandable way.
  • Responsible for providing line of sight to data quality and gaps where issues need to be addressed.
  • Assist with managing team delivery commitments and helping to remove impediments.
  • Manage several concurrent projects of varying priority and complexity, across multiple IT domain teams and multiple partner airline teams.
  • Assist Business Product Owner with backlog management, iteration planning, and grooming of the user stories.
  • Measure and communicate product business value and ROI.
  • Lead deep-dive technical analysis sessions, and ensure results are clearly documented.
  • Make things happen without frequent management direction and know when to communicate status or escalate issues to their manager, teammates or stakeholders.
  • Enjoy working in a high-profile environment with fluid priorities, ambiguity and aggressive deadlines.
  • Ensuring the team produces continual and on-time delivery of value.
  • Drive root cause analysis of production issues and identify resolution and preventative steps.
  • Act as the bridge between the Business team (product owner and manager) and the developers when there is a gap of knowledge on technology or domain requirements.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications):
  • 4 year Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field.
  • 6 years + experience as a technical product analyst and has worked closely with product owners on digital platforms.
  • Experience working on digital passenger check-in systems, with an understanding on the technical interactions / interface between the frontend and backend solutions.
  • Extensive experience defining agile requirements (Epics/stories), including functional and technical in a product / service organization.
  • Mentor and work closely with internal and external technical product team members (Developers, Testers, etc) towards the backlog development, product stability enhancements, etc.
  • Understanding and usage of agile metrics (velocity, burn downs) to help the team be more productive.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and digging into different sources of information (transaction details, logging, customer data, etc.) to understand issue causes and identifying preventative steps and resolutions.
  • Good understanding of Engineering practices, some exposure technical platform such as Python/Java/Cloud/AWS
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to partner with business stakeholders to prioritize backlog as necessary.
  • Creative thinker paired with great attention to details.
WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS):
  • Ability to use Agile / Scrum tools like Agility and Jira effectively.
  • Airline, or Transportation industry experience.
  • Ability to act as a scrum master and / or run the scrum ceremonies with the guidance from our Agile Coaching team. A Scrum master or Product owner certification would be considered as a plus for this role.
